Udupi: A seminar will be held to mark the birth centenaries of writers A. Na. Krishna Rao and J.P. Rajaratnam as part of the Ku. Shi. Haridas Bhat memorial programme in the city on August 17. The programme is being organised by the Rashtrakavi Govinda Pai Samshodhana Kendra, MGM College, Academy of General Education and the Udupi-Manipal chapter of the Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan. SessionIn a press release issued here on Sunday, Director of the kendra Heranje Krishna Bhat said that scholars S.M. Krishna Rao and G. Ashwathnarayana would speak on “A. Na. Krishna Rao’s life” and “A. Na. Krishna Rao’s literature”, respectively, in the morning session. Scholar N. D’Souza would chair the seminar on A. Na. Krishna Rao, the press release said. LecturesIn the afternoon session, scholars M. Ramachandra and H.N. Muralidhar would deliver lectures on “J.P. Rajaratnam’s life” and “J.P. Rajaratnam’s works”, respectively. Scholar N. Kasturi would preside over the seminar on J.P. Rajaratnam, the press release said . Scholar M. Satyanarayana from Mysore would be participating in the Ku. Shi. Haridas Bhat memorial programme in the city, the press release said.
