A.B. Shiva Subramanyam has been elected president of the Karnataka State Chartered Accountants Association for 2008-09. The other office-bearers are Marulasiddaiah M. (vice-president); Ravindra Beleyur (secretary); Allama Prabhu (joint secretary); and Manoj Kumar (treasurer).
