Shimla: Four persons were killed and 19 others injured in two road accidents in Himachal Pradesh on Sunday, police said. In the first incident, two persons were killed and three others injured when a Tata Sumo rolled into a 200-metre deep gorge near Jundla Kainchi, about 100 km from here. The vehicle was on its way to Shimla from Rampur when the mishap occurred. The second accident took place in Hamirpur, in which two persons were killed and 16 others injured. A tempo carrying pilgrims from Ludhiana to Deotsidh, the seat of Baba Balaknath temple, overturned and fell into a deep gorge near Deotsidh. The driver of the tempo fled from the scene after the accident, the police said adding that a case has been registered.
