Nedumbassery: The CISF Personnel at the Cochin International Airport on Sunday caught a contract worker red handed on the charge of taking photographs of restricted areas inside the airport, using his mobile phone. The person identified as Mohammed Sali (23), son of Ahamed Kutty Kozhikkadan in Malapuram, was working as an interior decoration worker at the airport. The CISF personnel inspected his mobile phone and reportedly found more than 60 pictures of various strategic points of the airport. On questioning, Sali could not give any proper reason why he took those photographs, sources said. He was handed over to the local police and a case has been registered against him for violation of security. The police said that they have started investigation on whether the suspect had any extremist links and the details of his activities. The action of the accused was a serious violation of security in the airport, said airport officials.
