Water level

The level in the Periyar dam on Sunday stood at 125.9 feet (full level 136 feet) with an inflow of 1,673 cusecs and a discharge of 1,450 cusecs. The level in the Vaigai dam was 63.12 feet (71 feet) with an inflow of 881 cusecs and a discharge of 41 cusecs. The combined Periyar credit stood at 4,589 mcft.

Periyar Dam recorded a rainfall of 41 mm, Tekkadi 28 mm and Gudalur 2.8 mm.
