Jehanabad: Fourteen persons were sentenced to life imprisonment by a local Fast Track Court for beating to death a man in Bihar’s Jehabanad district 18 years ago. Fast Track Court Judge Ram Lakhan Yadav awarded life sentence to Lala Paswan and 13 others for killing Nageshwar Mochi, a brick kiln worker, at Dharaut village in Makhdumpur police station limits on May 14, 1990. Paswan and others had done to death Nageshwar Mochi to avenge the killing of a relative in which the victim’s involvement was suspected.
