Lucknow: The district police and CRPF have averted a major blast when they detected a landmine reportedly planted by Naxalites on Chargada Road in Manchi police circle in Sonbhradra district, Home department sources said here. The mines were detected after a tip sparked off extensive searches along the highway by the bomb disposal squad, they said, adding that two containers with 20 kg of explosives and detonators were found.
