No decision yet on MBBS seats
CHENNAI: The Health Department is yet to take a decision on the seats due from Chettinad Medical College and Hospital for the MBBS course, at its meeting held here on Sunday.
A decision will be reached by August 13.
Eighty-three seats from the college were to be included in the government quota during the second round of MBBS counselling to be held on August 13. As the Chettinad Hospitals was accorded ‘Deemed to be University’ status last week, it became uncertain whether these seats would be included. — Staff Reporter
