Thej, Mari Arul share lead

HUBLI: Grandmaster norm holder M.S. Thej Kumar of South Western Railway and S. Mari Arul of Southern Railway were in the lead with six points each after their seventh round game on Sunday ended in a draw in the 21st all-India Railway chess championship here.

They are closely followed by B.T. Murali Krishnan of Southern Railway, Soumyaranjan Mishra of Central Railway and Laltu Chatterjee of Eastern Railway, who have 5.5 points each.
