Jagadish sparkles

VIJAYAWADA: An unbeaten 99 by Jagadish Kumar enabled Kadapa to post 171 in 53. 4 overs against Nellore in the rain-marred ACA South Zone under-16 inter-district cricket tournament at Anantapur.

In reply, Nellore was 35 for no loss in 15 overs.

In another match, Kurnool was 129 for five in 46.5 overs against Anantapur.

The scores: Kadapa 171 in 53.4 overs (Jagadish Kumar 99 n.o., Krishna Reddy three for 25) vs. Nellore 35 for no loss in 15 overs; Kurnool 129 for five in 46. 5 overs vs. Anantapur.
