BANGALORE: The Internet is making it possible for millions worldwide to access sporting highlights of the Olympics.

The International Olympic Committee has beefed up its website with comprehensive, minute by minute coverage ( http://www.olympic.org) and has also teamed up with YouTube ( http://www.youtube.com/beijing2008). The Beijing Olympic Committee has created its own English website where it posts results almost in real time (http://en.beijing2008.cn/). Wired magazine has located some sites which offer live videos such as http://itsgametime.tv/OlympicsLive.html.
