Sonebhadra: Two kanwariyas (Shiv devotees) have been feared drowned in Belar river here, police said on Monday. The kanwariyas, on their way to Shivdwar temple, were taking a bath in the river in Dhorawal police station area here yesterday when they were swept away by the swift current. Efforts were on to trace the bodies, police said. Meanwhile, alleging that the administration took no preventive measures, a mob of kanwariyas lodged a protest over the incident.
