Nine killed in mishaps

Jaipur: Nine persons were killed and eight others injured in three road mishaps in the early hours in Rajasthan, police said here. Five young men who went for a picnic to Beesalpur dam were crushed to death and three of their colleagues injured when their car collided with a truck at Shivdaspura in Jaipur rural, the police said. The deceased belonged to the Murlipura area of Jaipur. In a separate accident in Dausa district, two men were killed and three others, including two children, injured when their car rammed into a stationary truck at Sikandra.

In the third accident, two persons were killed and two others injured, when their car hit a truck parked on the road side at Mandal in Bhilwara district, the police said.
