Bhopal: Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan on Monday reviewed various welfare schemes launched by the government and directed officials through video conferencing to complete all the works within specified timeframe. “The Chief Minister received feedback from all the Divisional Commissioners and District Magistrates about schemes being run by the State government and directed officials to distribute land rights paper to those occupying forest lands,” an official release said. “More than 73 per cent announcements made by the Chief Minister were fulfilled. He has directed officials to complete the pending works within the declared timeframe,” the release added. Mr. Chauhan was informed that there has been considerable improvement in power generation and distribution in the wake of good rains across the State and 10-14 hours power supply was being provided to the people. Expressing satisfaction over distribution of land rights to those in possession of forest lands, the Chief Minister asked officials that papers along with a map should be provided to them. – PTI
