Grant-in-aid sought for TCH institutions
Special Correspondent
BANGALORE: The Karnataka State Unaided Old TCH Colleges’ Employees Association has urged the Government to bring in all the 44 TCH Institutions established prior to 1987 under the purview of grant-in-aid throughout the State.
Association president B.N. Krishnappa told presspersons here on Monday that these 44 institutions should be provided grant-in-aid on the lines of primary schools, high schools, junior colleges, ITI, polytechnic and B. Ed. colleges, which were established between 1987 and 1993. Although the association had petitioned various governments in the past, its demands had not been fulfilled, he said.
