Stone laid

Mayor Pulusu Janardhana Rao on Monday laid the foundation stone for drainage works costing Rs.22 lakhs in Division 13 at Sitampeta.

The works were a part of the measures being taken to prevent flooding of low-lying areas in the city.

The completion of works under SL Canal and Yerrigedda had largely prevented the flooding of the One Town area in the city. Corporator G.V. Ravi Raju and Executive Engineer V.R.K. Raju participated.
