KTDC to reopen restaurant
Staff Reporter
THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: ‘Sayahna,’ an outdoor restaurant adjoining the new heritage block at the Kerala Tourism Development Corporation’s (KTDC) Mascot Hotel in the State capital, will reopen on August 17 after almost six years. The restaurant was closed down to take up work on upgrading Mascot Hotel to a five-star property.
Sayahna, (evening) is set amidst lush green environs with exotic flora, including plants that bloom at night. An air-conditioned restaurant has been opened at the heritage block. About 100 people can dine at a time at ‘Sayahna’ and the restaurant, KTDC chairman Cherian Philip said.
The outdoor restaurant will function from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m.
