For street children’s rights

KOCHI: The Aluva-based Janaseva Sisubhavan will organise a prayer meeting at the Gandhi Statue in Ernakulam on Friday as part of the protest programmes to be taken up against the denial of rights to shelter, food and education to innumerable street children. The event is also an attempt create awareness among the people about this social issue.

On the eve of Independence Day, the prayer meeting will be inaugurated by actor Kaviyoor Ponnamma. Representatives of Kerala Small Men Association and Tall Men Association will take part in the prayer meeting.
