Draft poll rolls for public view
VILLUPURAM: The draft electoral rolls, incorporating the delimited Assembly constituencies, will be kept for public verification in the polling stations and taluk offices till August 20.
Therefore, any additions, deletions and corrections could be carried out in the rolls till that date, according to a statement from the Collectorate. The revised rolls were made public for a period of 15 days from July 21.
But now the time had been extended up to August 20 for the purpose. Meanwhile, the 100 per cent door-to-door verification of voters started on August 8 would be completed on August 28. — Special Correspondent
