Two new fire stations inaugurated

NEW DELHI: Delhi Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit on Tuesday inaugurated two new fire stations at Jwala Heri and Paschim Vihar in West Delhi. The inauguration was also attended by Urban Development Minister Raj Kumar Chauhan and Chief Fire Officer R.C. Sharma.

Ms. Dikshit said the Rs.3.68 crore Paschim Vihar fire station and the Rs 1.49 crore Jwala Heri Market fire station would help in meeting any exigency better. She said the number of fire station would be increased from 45 to 70 in the 10th Five Year Plan.
