Coimbatore to host PGTI championship
Coimbatore: The second half of the PGTI season will open with the PGTI Players Championship at the Coimbatore Golf Club course in Chettipalayam here on August 20.
The four-day championship, which will attract the country’s top golfing professionals, carries prize money of Rs. 30 lakh. The championship bandwagon then moves to Chennai (Aug. 27 to 30) for the Tamil Nadu Open, which will make its debut at the Madras Gymkhana Club.
The action then shifts to the Poona Golf Club in Pune (Sept. 2 to 5) followed by the AIS Open at the Golden Greens Golf and Country Club in Gurgaon (Sept. 10 to 13) and, finally, the DLF Masters at the DLF Golf and Country Club from Sept. 18 to 21.
