25 taken ill due to food poisoning

Over 25 inmates of the Social Welfare Women’s Hostel in Kukirapalli village in Yelamanchili mandal were admitted to hospital on Tuesday evening due to food poisoning.

According to the police, the girls fell sick in the evening after consuming the food served in the hostel in the afternoon.

The sick hostellers have been admitted to Yellamanchili Government Hospital.
