Released fishermen arrive at Nagapattinam

BACK HOME: A patrolling ship of the Indian Coast Guard receiving fishermen on board from a Sri Lankan Navy vessel at the International Maritime Boundary Line in Palk Strait on Tuesday.

NAGAPATTINAM: Ten fishermen of Nagapattinam, who were released by the Sri Lankan Navy and handed over to the Coast Guard off Arcottuthurai on the Vedaranyam coast on Tuesday afternoon, arrived with their two mechanised boats at the port here late in the evening.

District Revenue Officer A. Annadurai received them.
