Free vaccination camp for cattle

KARUR: The Department of Animal Husbandry is conducting a special vaccination camp for cattle to prevent incidence of foot and mouth disease in them. There were 1.50 lakh dosages of the vaccine with the veterinary dispensaries and hospitals in the district. Public could get their livestock to the nearest dispensary vaccinated free. The camp would be on till August 31, according to Regional Joint Director, Animal Husbandry Department, S. Loganathan.
