Workers killed

NAMAKKAL: Two road workers, natives of Chattishghar, were killed and a woman sustained injuries in Paramathi Velur on Wednesday when a tractor overturned on the road.

Police said three people, including two women, engaged in the four-laning of the National Highways, were travelling on the tractor carrying concrete slabs, when the vehicle lost control and overturned. The deceased were identified as Jamanbai (35) and Bolabai. The injured was admitted to the Namakkal Government hospital. A case was registered.
