Srikakulam: Telugu Desam Parliamentary Party leader K.Yerrannaidu is optimistic of the party returning to power in the State. Mr. Yerrannaidu said here on Wednesday that the possible triangular contest in the coming elections would benefit the Telugu Desam Party. Stating that the proposed third front would take a concrete shape soon and it would gain in the elections as people were not ready to vote a new party which was promising everything new but encouraging defections from other parties. Anti-incumbency factor, non-performance and corruption would contribute to the defeat of the ruling Congress, the TDP leader predicted. All these factors would help TDP regain power, he exuded confidence. On exodus from the party, Mr. Yerrannaidu said those who desert a party clamouring for political power should learn from the Left parties which had never been in power.
