Report on check-dam

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: A report of the rubber check-dam to be constructed at Aranmula using the latest technology was submitted to Water Resources Minister N.K. Premachandran by K.C. Rajagopal, MLA, on Wednesday. The dam’s height can be increased by three metres using air or water when water needs to be stored. The estimated project cost is Rs.16 crore. —Special Correspondent
