Bailable warrants against Ansal brothers

New Delhi: The Supreme Court on Wednesday issued bailable arrest warrants against Ansal brothers and two others in the Uphaar Cinema fire tragedy case and asked them to “show cause” as to why their bail granted by the Delhi High Court should not be cancelled.

A bench of Justice B. N. Agrawal and Justice G. S. Singhvi issued notices to Sushil Ansal, Gopal Ansal and two others Ajit Chowdhary and Nirmal Chopra, both ex-managers of the theatre, who were granted bail by the High Court.
