Recovery of money ordered

BHUBANESWAR: Authorities have ordered recovery of Rs. 12,57,800 each from four engineers on the charge of their involvement in execution of a sub-standard work.

Vigilance department found that these four engineers had shown undue official favour to contractors in execution of Soso branch canal road.

They were identified as Girish Prasad Mishra, former assistant engineer, Anandapur Barrage Sub-Division, Abhimanyu Giri, former junior engineer, Anandapur, Barrage Sub-Division, Bidyadharpur, Mukundadev Upadhyaya, former Junior Engineer Section-III Irrigation Section, Agarpada, and PrasannaKumar Das, former junior engineer with Water Resources Canal project Division, Akhuapada.
