THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The Congress(S) has declared its readiness to accommodate former leaders who had left the party to join other parties. A political resolution adopted by the Congress(S) State leadership camp which was held at Sulthan Batheri on August 8, 9 and 10, portions of which were released for publication here on Wednesday, said the party would welcome with open arms those who could not persist with their changed political stance. Since the Congress(S) continued to be a committed and credible partner of the LDF, those who wished to return to the party would have no problem. It also wanted the CPI(M) to take the leadership of the new alternative emerging at the Centre.
