BANGALORE: Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan has invited applications for “Shri Guru Gangeshwarananda Veda Ratna Puraskar 2007”. Of the six awards, four will be given to scholars in the Rig, Yajur, Atharvana and Sama Vedas and two special awards to research scholars in science or mathematics based on the Vedas. Candidates with qualification of Salakshana Ghana and who have contributed to the development of Vedic studies may apply. Applications can be obtained from the Bhavan’s office on Race Course Road.
