BANGALORE: Police Commissioner Shankar M. Bidari on Wednesday rewarded Sunil and his father Maniswamy with Rs. 5,000 each for chasing a man who snatched a woman’s bag. Sunil and Muniswamy pursued Nirmal who was fleeing with the bag of software engineer Jnaneshwari in BTM Layout on Monday night. Nirmal allegedly injured Jnaneshwari with a razor blade and snatched her bag containing Rs. 450 and a cellphone. — Staff Reporter
