Collector to look into teachers’ transfers

Staff Reporter

NIZAMABAD: The Andhra Pradesh Teachers’ Federation district president B. Devi Singh and general secretary K. Ramana said that District Collector B. Ramanjaneyulu, responding to their appeal, agreed to scrap the alleged “indiscriminate” transfers by District Educational Officers and rectify the anomalies.

In a press release, the APTF leaders said the DEO effected transfers against the rules, causing hardship to the teaching community. They said the Collector also assured them of enquiry into the anti--teacher practices of Nizam Sagar Mandal Educational Officer.
