Electrical trade exhibition to open on August 15

CHENNAI: Energy conservation and showcasing of emerging trends in latest cost-effective products in the electrical world will be the highlights of a three-day exclusive electrical trade exposition beginning in the city on August 15. Giving details of ‘Electrica 2008,’ organised by the Madras Electric Trades Association (META), its president, Hukichand D. Shah, told a press conference here on Wednesday. that the main objective of the exhibition was to bring manufacturers, traders, and customers under one roof and to showcase new trends in technology.

Energy saving devices

Energy saving devices and electrical appliances will be on display.

The exhibition with no entry fee will be held at Rani Meyammai and Rajah Muthaiah Halls, Egmore.

It will be open for business visitors between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. and for the general public from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. A total of 110 stalls will display the latest products from manufacturers of Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, Bangalore, Ahmedabad and Chennai.
