Training programme

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The Centre for Career Development Studies will conduct a foundation course for the UPSC’s Civil Services examinations 2010-11.

A note issued here said the classes would begin on August 17 and would be held every second Saturday and Sundays from 9.30 a.m. to 4.30 p.m.

Students who are in the second year of the degree programme and those who have cleared their Plus Two examinations with good marks can apply.

Those interested should contact the centre before August 16.

The CCDS is also organising an intensive training programme for those appearing for the examinations held by the State Public Service Commission for appointment as lecturers in government colleges. Classes will begin on August 16 and will be held from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays.

Those who have cleared the UGC/NET examinations are eligible. For details, contact 0471-2469020, 2468958.
