Girl dies after falling in sewer
New Delhi: A minor girl was killed while her elder sister injured on Wednesday after they fell into a sewer in Outer Delhi, police said.
Jitni (3), her elder sister Kabutri (5) and five other children were playing outside their house in Bawana when the siblings fell into the sewer, they said.
Other children raised an alarm and the people nearby fished out the girls from the sewer.
They were immediately rushed to a nearby hospital where Jitni was declared brought dead.
Kabutri is recuperating in the hospital and doctors said her condition is critical. -- PTI
