Water still a problem

If not scarcity it is excess water that is a cause for worry. Till last week Hyderabadis were crying hoarse about shortage of water but soon they were scared of it as the skies opened up. For government the worry seems to be over at least on the water front. The city reservoirs have sufficient water now and the power cut is to be a thing of the past soon. But many families have yet to pick up the threads of life after the rains.

In areas like Nadeem colony water refuses to recede while in some places there is complaint of irregular water supply. Particularly, residents of Mahendra Hills are sore about the erratic supplies. A case of scarcity amidst plenty.
