Vigil against communal forces sought

Kasaragod: Unfurling the national flag at the Municipal Stadium in Kasaragod on Independence Day, Health Minister P.K. Sreemathy exhorted people to exercise utmost vigil against growth of fundamental and communal forces which posed a grave threat to India’s democratic society.

Maintaining that the country was deviating from its policy of non-alignment, the Minister stressed the need for taking an uncompromising stand against imperialistic forces which, she said, had thrown a challenge to India’s freedom. — PTI
