Agriculture Mission soon

DAVANGERE: An Agriculture Mission is being prepared for the comprehensive development of agriculture and to improve the economic and social conditions of farmers, apart from enhancing agricultural output in the State, S.A. Ravindranath, Minister for Agriculture, said here on Friday.

Hoisting the National Flag here to mark the Independence Day celebrations, he said that the proposed mission would include many other pro-farmer initiatives. He said the Government had also accorded priority to education.
