Veena exponent dead

CHENNAI: Veena exponent Karaikkudi Rajeswari Padmanabhan died of a massive heart attack at a hospital here on Friday. She was 69 years old.

She was the former principal of Kalakshetra and a recipient of Sangeet Natak Akademi and Kalaimamani awards.

The funeral will be held on Monday.
