Swedish wrestler faces IOC’s wrath

BEIJING: Ara Abrahamian, the Swedish wrestler who dropped his bronze medal in disgust, could face sanctions from the IOC. The committee said it had opened an investigation into the incident. During the medal ceremony, Abrahamian took the bronze from around his neck and dropped it on the mat as he walked away. — AP
