Now, Shilpa will be Jade Goody’s host

Mumbai: British actor Jade Goody, who hit the headlines last year for her racist remarks against actor Shilpa Shetty on the U.K. reality TV show ‘Big Brother’, arrived here on Friday.

She will participate in the Indian show ‘Bigg Boss’. This time, Ms. Shetty will be her ‘host’, and not housemate.

‘Bigg Boss’, with a format similar to that of ‘Big Brother,’ will go on air on the ‘Colors’ channel this Sunday. Ms. Goody, who landed here in the morning, drove to Lonavala, where ‘Bigg Boss’ will be shot.

Ms. Goody’s racist remarks against Ms. Shetty generated a lot of sympathy for the Indian actor, who eventually emerged winner in last year’s edition of the British show.

In ‘Bigg Boss’, Ms. Shetty will interact with housemates every week for the eviction round. It will be a daily one-hour show. — PTI
