Police appeal to public

NEW DELHI: The Delhi police have appealed to the people to make use of the public transport on Raksha Bandhan day on Saturday.

“We request the people not to use their personal vehicles on

JURaksha Bandhan day in order to minimise the pressure on roads. We are anticipating heavy traffic on Saturday,” a police officer said.

Adequate steps have been taken by the police to regulate traffic in the city.
