Beware of pickpockets in the U.K.

KOCHI: Beware of pickpockets in the Untied Kingdom, if you are a student ready to join a university in the country.

This is one among several tips offered by Education U.K. for the benefit of international students.

The pre-departure guide distributed to the participants of a meet, organised by Education U.K. and the British Council here recently elaborates: “Always carry your money in an inside pocket, never in your back trouser pocket or in the outer pockets of a coat or a jacket. If you leave your coat or jacket anywhere, always take your money with you. Never leave a handbag unattended, even for short periods, always keep it with you”.
