THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Organisation of Retired Bankers in Trivandrum (Orbit) has donated Rs. 50,000 to 111 economically backward individuals for an insurance cover of total Rs. 55 lakh under the ‘Cancer Care for Life’ programme of Thiruvananthapuram Regional Cancer Centre (RCC). At a function held here the other day Health Minister P.K. Sreemathy handed over the sum to RCC director Dr. B. Rajan. The function also included a classical music concert by Ragaratnam finalist Master Mahadevan. Orbit president P.O. Yatheendra Mohan presided over the function.
