Chandigarh: Punjab Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal on Saturday conducted an aerial survey of flood-affected areas in the Ferozepur district to have first hand information about the damage caused due to the rains in the State over past few days. According to the Chief Minister’s Media Advisor Harcharan Bains, Mr. Badal has directed that efforts for rescuing the beleaguered villagers should be conducted on a war footing. He asked the local MLA and Irrigation Minister Janmeja Singh Sekhon to rope in social organisations for arranging langar for the people. PTI
