Jal Board CEO shifted

NEW DELHI: Arun Mathur, Chief Executive Officer of the Delhi Jal Board, has been appointed Director (Enforcement), Department of Revenue.

A 1977 batch IAS officer of the UT cadre, Mr. Mathur who assumed charge of the water utility in 2005, is likely to take over his new assignment this coming week.

Mr. Mathur will succeed Mr. Sudhir Nath, a 1974 batch Madhya Pradesh cadre IAS officer. According to Delhi Government sources, no decision vis-À-vis the appointment of a new CEO has been arrived at. “Mr. Mathur is likely to hand over charge on Monday to P.K. Tripathi, Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister,” said a source.
