People urged to get rid of hatred

NEW DELHI: Stating that political independence was not enough, Sant Nirankari Mission head Baba Hardev Singhji Maharaj has urged people to get rid of the feelings of hatred and violence in the name of religion, caste, colour and region.

Addressing devotees here on Friday, the Nirankari Baba reminded the countrymen that those who struggled and sacrificed their lives for freedom wanted to liberate the whole country. “None of them died for a particular State, region, culture or language. Let us separate ourselves from what separates us from others.”
