‘Menace of stray cattle still persists’

NEW DELHI: The Leader of the Opposition in the Municipal Corporation of Delhi, J. K. Sharma, has alleged that the Bharatiya Janata Party had “failed” to remove the menace of stray cattle from the city and clear illegal dairies from urban areas.

Mr. Sharma said cattle could be seen walking freely on the roads and causing accidents as well as traffic jams. He also said that he had written to the Delhi Lieutenant-Governor seeking his personal intervention to gear up the municipal administration.
