Web site for NRIs launched

PUDUCHERRY: Industries and Power Minister V. Vaithilingam on Saturday launched a web site for Non-Resident Indians hailing from the Union Territory. The website, nri.puducherry.gov.in, made available by the Directorate of Industries and Commerce was aimed at providing value added service to French nationals of Puducherry origin. Mr. Vaithilingam said the web site provided all information about the Union Territory and services available to the French nationals. Those who wanted to avail themselves of the facility had to register online, he said.
